The no-pressure plate

What you'll need
- One familiar food
- One small portion of something new
How to do it
- 1Serve the new food in a tiny portion beside something your child already eats.
- 2Say nothing about it. No reward, no comment if it is ignored.
- 3Let your child touch, smell or move it without eating it.
- 4Repeat for two weeks and watch curiosity, not intake.
What it helps with
Repeated, calm exposure lowers the pressure that usually drives refusal.
