Safety

What Baby Mamas can help with, what it cannot, and what we do to protect your family's information.

In an urgent situation

If your child is struggling to breathe, unresponsive, seriously injured, or you believe anyone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number straight away. Do not wait on anything you read here.

What our guidance is

General educational information and practical, everyday suggestions written in plain language. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or medical, legal or psychological advice, and it is not reviewed by clinicians. Where a situation calls for a professional, our answers say so.

Your child's information

Child profiles are private to your account. They are never shown publicly, in the community, in search, or in babysitting listings, and photographs are stored in private storage only you can read. See Privacy for detail.

Babysitting

Baby Mamas does not yet run identity checks or background checks, so no caregiver on this site is described as verified, trusted, or background checked. Until that infrastructure exists, please carry out your own checks, meet in person, and take references.

Reporting something

If you see a community post that worries you, or anything on Baby Mamas that looks unsafe, contact us and we will look at it.
